Memory of touch

As I made all the wax hand shells I didn`t want to stop there.

I decided to show how I remember certain types of touch, the unwanted, uncalled for touch- with a strong emotions attached to it.

Memory and emotion so strong it still causes skin to crawl. So strong that you feel it years after it happened.

I am happy with this piece – it shows that sometimes I shoudn`t be so quick to abandon the ideas. It is still not perfect, but I am curious where this can be taken further. I started to experiment with the projecting and multiplicating the image on the wall and through the surface. I love the dreamlike feel that it creates.
I am planning to print it larger scale and add the wax on top as well to create organic like feel to it.
