How to show transcendence and meditation?

After creating the series of self-portraits, I used this technique on dream-like images, I wanted them to evoke the meditative state and the outer body experience that people describe during meditations. In an article by Aviva Berkovich-Ohana we can read that the meditation practice can lead to what have been referred to as “altered states of consciousness.” One of the phenomenological characteristics of these is a joint alteration in the sense of time, space, and body.  (Berkovich-Ohana et al., 2013). I feel those images demonstrate that experience.
